     1. Reassure you that you’re not alone.
     2. Share stories of survivors (who are aware of this site).

When Josiah’s mom was pregnant with Josiah, the doctors insisted on an abortion. Doctors don’t know everything.

You or a loved one must be in a similar situation; otherwise you would not have found this site.

We are not doctors, just parents who love their children. Maybe we can share what we have been through, but by no means are we indicating it is the only possible medical decision for your child. Your child is, as you are, a unique person with his or her own special needs. Ask many doctors and nurses questions. Nurses have told us, “Nurses treat for the patient; doctors treat the ’syndrome’.”

Josiah’s family does not believe in “compassionate care”. That is a term coined to let your child die. We believe in taking care of your child as though we would care for any of our other children. He is no different in the aspect that he is a child of God and we are to care for him as best as we possibly can.

Through these stories, hopefully, you’ll find the strength you’ll need to stand against what the doctors are telling you. We encourage you to; we know you can!! Your baby needs your voice.
